Canadian rock band The Kings are celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the release of their Certified Platinum Album “The Kings Are Here” and their Certified Gold Single “This Beat Goes On/Switchin’ to Glide”, which was recently inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the video for it has been seen over 4.5 million times.
Formed in Vancouver BC and Oakville Ontario, The Kings have performed more than 2000 shows across North America including an appearance on Dick Clark’s “American Bandstand” and have released 5 studio albums, 3 live albums including 2 live DVDs, an Anthology, a documentary film, and numerous singles. They are currently working on a new album.
